I have been working my butt off lately. my regular work schedule is Sun-Thurs and lately I've been working overtime on Fridays. But this weekend, I was off Friday, Saturday AND Sunday. I had such a great weekend. Friday was crazy: Co has another ear infection. Will this ever end? He had tubes put in in December and has at least one ear infection a month. Saturday went well too. Today was the best. I went to church this morning and got invited to a bible study group next Sunday night. I can't wait. I also went to a Memorial day party and got to spend time with some great friends.
Anyway, on to the good stuff....
I am a procrastinator to the 10th degree. I love doing my craft projects but I can never seem to completely finish them. Wellllll.....drum roll please....I FINISHED TWO PROJECTS IN ONE NIGHT!!!! Talk about productive! I've been working on this wreath for about 10-14 days now. I bought a wreath from the dollar store, used crepe paper I already had, scissors, ribbon and a glue gun.

This is the finished project. I am so proud of myself. I love this wreath. It's too cute to hang outside; I wanna be able to see it all the time! I got the idea from this post from Shelley at house of smiths.
here are some close up's
I also finished another project tonight. I ordered vinyl from Shelley Smith and
her awesome vinyl business/blog wonderfully wordy. I've had this project idea
for a while now. I bought a surf board themed sign at Goodwill for $3. I spray
painted it white, which actually was a big waste of time because I ended up
covering up all of the white part. I sanded down the edges and then distress
inked it up. I then mod podged scrapbook paper over the top and adhered the
vinyl. These pictures make it look a lot more grreeennn that it actually is. It looks lime, but it's a actually a very pale green. It's a bit more distressed than I was going for but I still love it.
What did you do today?

LOVE that sign!!! You are so creative...can't believe you made that. It looks like something you'd buy in a store for like $40. amazing
