Ok, so no, it's not really an emergency, but I do need help. I'm making something for my friend's baby shower. It's June 13th. I spray painted this board Ballet Slipper pink, by Krylon...and now it's like cracking and peeling! Why is this happening and what can I do to fix it? I wanted the edges to be light pink, then I am going to decoupage scrapbook paper on the inside part and put some vinyl on it. I need some cute girly ideas too! I'm thinking either...sugar and spice and everything nice, that's what little girls are made of...OR...so there's this girl, she kinda stole my heart, she calls me mom. I'm leaning towards the latter.
why is it doing this?
I also made some matte's for my friend.
pretty as a princess

Hi!
Did you sand the surface first?
What kind of paint did you use?
Here's a book I just got from the library. It's called PAINTED WOODEN FURNITURE by Cate Withacy.
I hope this helps.

Did you sand the surface? Looks like the paint just soaked into the wood. I hate when that happens...and I have no idea why! (Especially if it's something I spent money on!)
Super cute frams you painted...so gily!
Ok. Really cute mattes!
