yardsale-ing

I curbshopped for the first time ever yesterday! I Jerimy picked up a little night stand for me for FRREEEEEE!!!! I have no clue what I'm going to do with it and right now it's still in my trunk but I was so excited I just had to have it.

I also went yardsale-ing this morning. I got a ton of baby clothes for my friend who's due in August and is having a little girl. A whole Kroger bag full for only $3!!!! woooo hooo! and a file cabinet for $5 HELLO!!! score!

I went to the goodwill yesterday in the east end aka nice part of town. and it was ridiculously overpriced. The cheapest thing there was $25 and it was a small tiny table that was not worth anything. I was very disappointed and I left without buying anything.

How do all these people find these great things for only 49 cents? Where can I find that stuff?

Pictures of my great fins later. Gotta go yardsale-ing again!!!

Hi Caitlin! Goodwill's here in l'ville are very expensive! And, they don't have sales. The best deals are at DAV on Berry Blvd. (Off of Taylor Blvd) There is also a Unique Thrift store on Preston, they are kind of high, but they have sales on Mondays. Holiday Mondays are very good deals.
And if you've read my blog much, you know I love all the peddler's malls!
I really don't like yard sales, I'm not sure why I even went on Saturday. Too much driving around!
Nice to "meet" you!
take care!

Better watch out Caitlin, curb shopping is very addictive!
Glad you found something cool. Be sure to show me what you do with it.
