distractions from housework.

So lately I have been up to a lot of fun stuff. I hate doing housework and cleaning and these projects help me procrastinate doing the things I hate. However, I have been trying to clean little by little to maintain things a little better around here. 

This is the dresser I curbshopped...FO' FREE!!!

It was thrilling and exhilarating and awesome! 

The top part is a little more messed up than I anticipated, however I plan to sand and decoupage and paint and pretty it up! I have no clue where this is going to go but I couldn't pass it up. 

This is the medicine cabinet I bought at Goodwill for $10. I like it. I don't necessarily need a medicine cabinet considering my bathroom is small and has limited wall space but I wanted it, so I bought it. 

It has two shelves but I am super impatient and took the second one out as soon as I got home and started to spray paint it before I took the picture. I'm going to (sand? idk yet.) spray paint it white, distress it, decoupage the back of it, and find a cute glass knob for the door. 

I also bought all this STUFF at goodwill. I'm regretting the white frames, and the small white shelf thing on the left end. I'm going to paint the "Hawaiian" board and probably make something cute for Co's room. 

The white frames were $3.50 each...YIKES!!! I was just in a mood to spend money and they were cute at the time but I'm thinking about returning them. I don't have the need or the wall space for them and I don't really like them anymore. 

This is my most recent project. I bought this vase ummmmm...I don't remember when or where. It might have been given to me by my mama. But I wanted to do something so I glued that scrapbook paper around it and hated it so then I decided to make it over again. 

This is what I did!

I love it! I'm hoping to use it to put my mother's day flowers in it that my baby daddy/boyfriend/bestfriend/roomie/love-of-my-life will get me :-)

I got my inspiration from Brown Paper Packages on THIS POST. I would have preferred a square vase to this round one but it's all I had. What have you been up to lately? Actually, you don't have to answer that, since I probably follow and blog-stalk you, I most likely already know! ;-) 

I love all my new blog friends! Even though I don't personally know you all, I still fell like we have become friends! I wish I lived close to my new blog friends so we could hang out and thrift shop and do fun projects!!! Thanks to everyone for giving me lots of great ideas and kind words!!! Yall are awesome!

Oh BTW, tonight was our last night of Dave Ramsey :( so sad. I'm really going to miss seeing our new friends every week. However, I think we might have found a new church home! Praise God!
