great weekend.

I have become a serial follower. Almost to the point of crazy craft stalker woman. I love following people because there are sooo many people who have amazing ideas and I get sooooo much inspiration!!! I have temporarily misplaced my camera. ahhhhhhh I know. Its like my 2nd child but I have not been taking many pictures lately I have been sooo busy. I have had a wonderful weekend!!!! I have a new obsession with furniture and redo-ing things. I curb shopped and it was soooo thrilling. I went yard sale-ing and found some great things. I want to go to the Goodwill again tomorrow and try to find something great.

I really want to make more friends. I love all my blog friends, but you all live sooo far away! I want friends I can go thrift shopping with!!! I wish there were more people like Sasha, she is my BFF and we think alike and we have the same tastes in just about everything. However, we both have LIVES, can you believe it? We have kids and hubby's and jobs and houses to clean. So we basically never have time to actually hang out with each other and the last time we got to shop together was forever ago. Literally, I'm gonna say at least 3 years ago if not longer. See why Sash needs a clone that has time to thrift shop with me?? ;-)

I really don't even need to be thrift shopping since we are trying to downsize, but I'm becoming addicted.  I am trying really hard to have more of a crafty eye. Seeing beyond the boring ugly exterior and thinking about how I can make it cute and fun.

So let me make a list of things I would like to do around the house. ok well im tired now and i will have to do this later.

OH my gosh... I felt the SAME way about spray paint! Until I used the spray paint from Walmart.
I know it sounds dumb... but they sell a 96 cent can of flat black, and flat white spray paint... and I LOVE THEM! They dry so fast, that there is NO dripping!
It's fabulous!

If I DO want a finished shiny look, then I just use a clear gloss spray sealer. It works great.

I think that the best surfaces to use spray paint... are on non flat, or large surfaces.
Things that have lots of crevices or turns or detail.
You can't see the mistakes then ;)

Good luck!
