Oh my gosh it's a miracle, I actually made a decision.

I am the most indecisive person on the entire planet. I cannot decide if I want to make a decision about making a decision. I say the words, "I can't decide," probably 22 times a day. I AM NOT EXAGGERATING. I am also a huge Grey's Anatomy fan, and they had an episode that was made for me, about this lady who needed a new heart valve and she couldnt decide between a pig valve or a cow valve, and so was born the phrase...PIG OR COW?? So, anyway, you remember those end tables I wanted to redo? Well, i know what I am going to do! I can't believe I actually made a decision. This is huge for me. I wanted to do something fun and funky, however, I decided to play it safe, since this is my first ever DIY project and it's a pretty big project, I didn't want to bite off more than I could chew. So black and white it is. It's not finished, but here's my idea....

I am going to paint the whole table black. Then decoupage the top with this scrapbook paper I bought tonight along with my first tub of Mod Podge! 

I want to leave the outside border plain black.

I also bought this ribbon to put along the outside edge of the table.

For sure need new hardware.

I am going to spray paint the lamps either black or white and hopefully get new lamp shade because I cannot stand the outdated 80's pleated shade. I actually hate the whole freakin lamp but it was free from my mom, and beggars can't be choosers. 

I also found this super cute ribbon that I fell in love with, and I plan to do something fun with it on another project. 

can you see it? I hope so. I love Hobby Lobby. And sales. 

I will begin the end table & lamp redo this weekend probably at my moms, since we live in an apartment and I can't spray paint on our teeny tiny patio. Actually, I am going to verify this with the office because it's going to be too hard to take over to my mom's. 

By the way, this daylight savings time thing has really sucked this year more than usual.
