CURIOUS GEORGE.

That is what I should have named my child. That is actually his nickname. This is why:

Yes, he is playing INSIDE his toy box.

Crazy cute little boy!!!

And this is why we call him our monkey:

He is standing on top of the bowl and holding onto the TV.

I know it's blurry but this is Cohen climbing on top of the TV.

And this is my 10 month old little "monkey" baby sitting on top of the TV. Oh, the joys of motherhood :-)

Now he is standing ON TOP of the TV. Don't worry, I was right next to him and snapped away before he could fall and hurt himself.

Isn't he such a monkey???

 Watching TV.

Hey Mama!!!

I do believe we are going to have his 1st birthday party in a monkey theme. I think he would feel quite at home with that!!! I felt a bit like MckMama when I looked up from my computer screen and saw my silly baby on top of the furniture! He really thought he was something. I got him down after I took my pictures because I was too worried he would fall. However, MckMama is waayyyy cooler than me and takes waaayyyyy better photos than I do. And her house is waaayyyyy cleaner than mine!!! (MckMama's blog is great by the way! If you haven't checked her out you totally should).

Life has been great lately. We have been faithfully going to our Dave Ramsey FPU classes and I am proud to say I have baby steps 1and 2 completed and am on baby step 3. If you are not familiar with the baby steps or FPU then you probably have no idea what I'm talking about.

BABY STEPS
1. HAVE $1000 IN AN EMERGENCY FUND.
2. DEBT SNOWBALL (PAY OFF ALL DEBT EXCEPT MORTGAGE)
3. HAVE 3-6 MONTHS OF EXPENSES IN SAVINGS.
4. PUT 15% OF YOUR EARNINGS IN YOUR RETIREMENT FUND.
5. COLLEGE FUND.
6. PAY OFF YOUR MORTGAGE.
7. BUILD WEALTH AND GIVE.

Having baby step 1 and 2 completed in less than 5 weeks is awesome for me! high five caitlin!!! I didn't have much debt though. One credit card I opened last year when Cohen was born and we were so poor we couldn't afford groceries. Another credit card I used to buy my MAC last September for school. I cut both my credit cards up in class!!! So except for my school loan, I am debt free!!!!!! I now have about a month and a half of expenses in savings, and am working towards my 6 month goal. Go caitlin!!! It feels so good to turn things around financially. I worry about money all the time but lately I have not worried so much. It's not a microwave, it's a crock pot, meaning building wealth is not going to happen overnight.

Alright, going to play blocks with my sweet boy now!!

Thanks for your sweet compliments. My skills came from nowhere. God is good like that. My best advice is shoot until you can't shoot anymore!!!! Half will be fuzzy (maybe more)..just keep shooting eventually the fuzzy will be less and less!!!! (also, if you have a rebel don't shoot on full auto :) )
